Our Mission Statement includes…
Attaining federal recognition from the United States Bureau of Indian Affairs. With this intention, we will fall under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. Thereafter, having our ancestral remains and artifacts, held by museums, returned to us.
Acquiring part of the Indiera that was set aside for the prosperity of our Taino ancestors and their descendants. Currently, annexed by the Puerto Rico government.
And with the help of linguists and other academia, to revitalize our Taino language. Hence, into a contemporary one for the prosperity and wellbeing of future generations.
